Singers

Singers graphic

Founded before the introduction of co-education in the 1970s, the Singers has transitioned from an all-male glee club into a singing group made up of students, faculty, staff and alumni members. In addition to performing at masses that celebrate both the beginning and end of the school year, the Singers perform at numerous academic convocations and the University’s annual holiday concert, A Festival of Lessons and Carols.

The Singers also perform at an annual spring concert, and have traveled to perform outside of the U.S. in Paris, London, Rome and other European cities.

How to Join

All students, faculty or staff members, and alumni are welcome to audition at the beginning of each semester for the Manhattan University Singers. Members may receive university credit through the Communication, Sound and Media Arts Department. Contact the club directly at singers@manhattan.edu for more information.
